The few days that we spent at Robby's mom's (Freda) was really fun! She had all kinds of veggie-friendly food cooked up for us. She feed us the whole time we were there. We drank wine and swam in the pool.
We headed over to the Camp area on Saturday. The camp is their land that they hunt on and spend time there on the weekend. Freda and her husband are very avid hunters. They travel all over the world, hunting all types of animals. I have lots of pictures of their trophies on my camera. I will upload those and share them in a later post. Ok...got off track there. So at the camp we road around on 4 wheelers checking out the land and cool stuff on it. Freda dressed me for the ride to protect me from the bushes and snakes.
^^^^
That's me up there holding my pretend gun in my camo shirt and boots, haha. We saw some alligator tracks. The pic below is Chris' foot beside the back foot track that one left behind. They said he was probably 12 foot long or something ridiculous like that.
We saw a snake and Robby killed it. We also saw a deer and both of its front legs were broken so they put it out of it's misery. When we got back to the camp I saw this little stuffed guy hanging out in the corner.
Nice, huh?...hehe
We had a great time over all and we can't wait to go back. Freda is an amazing hostess!
Sunday we took my mom and niece to Cheesecake factory for lunch and then to the zoo. She had a really good time. So a good Mother's day!
Yesterday was the start of our P90x journey. If you had of asked me yesterday about Day 1. I would have said it was really hard. That was until this morning, Day 2, when we did plyometrics (jumping cardio) for an HOUR! It was intense to say the least. There was a guy on the video that had a fake leg and he made us look real bad. We have been following the diet so far and doing good with it.
I'm sore all over so excuse this blog post if it is lagging in anyway. I will try to post some more pics from the past weekend when I can move without pain. haha
